My journey into the paint and coatings industry started long before I ever stepped behind the counter. Westerly Paints has been part of my family since 1988, when my father opened our first store. I grew up around paint cans, customer conversations, and the unique rhythm of running a local business. In many ways, this store has shaped who I am—it taught me the value of community, hard work, and providing something meaningful to the people around us.

A couple of years ago, my brother and I officially took the reins from our dad. It was a proud moment, but it also came with big shoes to fill. We wanted to preserve what made Westerly Paints special while also modernizing some of the ways we worked. We’ve always believed in giving customers personal, attentive service—but behind the scenes, we knew we could be more efficient and organized.
